The Free Mover Programme is meant for International Students that are not already participating in an exchange programme but choose a host university and then independently organize their own overseas study period.

Students who participate in the Free Mover programme of the University of Pisa can enroll in single courses for an academic semester or year, allowing them to obtain a maximum of 30 or 60 ECTS respectively.

Courses must be chosen with particular attention to the yearly didactic offer (available both in Italian and in English translation on UNIPI’s website) e and to the semester during which courses are offered.

The Free Mover student is responsible for the payment of 400,00 euros for one semester and of 700,00 euros for an academic year.

In addition to what is foreseen for enrollment at UNIPI, students that have selected courses offered from the Engineering Departments need to report, within a few days from arrival, to the International Office Engineering for the official acknowledgement of arrival.

The International Office Engineering is located inside the School of Engineering (building B46 – Polo A)
