The School of Engineering of the University of Pisa was founded  on July 2, 2013 (D.R. n. 23780) with the aim to promote coordination of the teaching activites of the whole engineering  area.

The Departments of Engineering, the Department of Physics and the Department of Mathematcs share activites under the School:

• DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, SYSTEMS, TERRITORY AND CONSTRUCTIONS  ENGINEERING (DESTEC) 
• DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (DICI) 
• DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION ENGINEERING (DII)

La School coordinates the degree courses offered by the three Engineering Departments: 10 Bachelor Degrees, 17 Master Degrees and one Long-cycle Degree.

The Dean of the School of Engineering is Prof. Ing. Alberto Landi (for the triennium  2016-2019).

The Engineering International Office is also located inside the School premises.

The School is located in Pisa, in Largo Lucio Lazzarino, near the train station of Pisa San Rossore (MAP and MAP OF THE ENGINEERING AREA)
