DESCRIZIONE DELL’ATTIVITA’ OFFERTA  e REQUISITI:

We are looking for a field applications developer.

Candidate will join a collaborative team to develop, test on the field and maintain the firmware of a smart seismic sensor that will be used in a very challenging and innovative project aimed at making early detections of seismic events (ASPIS). This seismic early warning prototype will be tested at the EGO (European Gravitational Observatory) hosting the Virgo interferometer. The smart seismic sensors will be integrated in a network capable of issuing early warnings based on incoming seismic waves. These warnings will be used to protect the Virgo infrastructure from unwanted seismic disturbances that may affect the duty cycle of the instrument. The sensor firmware will be implemented by the candidate using the Zerynth framework and in particular the Zerynth Virtual Machine (VM) and the related toolchain. The smart seismograph will be produced by Lunitek and it will be endowed with a 32bit microcontroller and a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) modem (e.i: LoRa, Sigfox or similar).

The candidate will be responsible for software development and field testing during all phases of the development cycle, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, integration, and documentation.

Requisiti e competenze richieste: Dottorato o Laurea magistrale + 36 mesi esperienza documentata;

Classi di laurea: Ingegneria , informatica, Ingegneria Informatica o titolo equivalente conseguito all’estero;

Livello di istruzione (laureando/laureato triennale/laureato magistrale): Laurea magistrale
